Monkey Trail
One of the most popular recreation trails in Shreveport is the Monkey Trail which is a 10 mile stretch between Preston Road and 4 Forks Road. If you're looking for a longer jaunt, the trail at Stoner Park offers a 12 mile stretch placed through the park's trees and wildlife.

Red River Bicycle Trail
If being behind the handlebars of your beloved bike is more your idea of recreation, then you are in for a treat as your tires hit the Red River Bicycle Trail. It is an 8-mile route through the heart of Shreveport all the way to the Clyde Fant Memorial Parkway. It starts at Riverview Park and is an awesomely scenic ride to its ending point at the Charles and Marie Hamel Memorial Park.

Ford Park
